Crowes Pasture

​Cowes Pasture plus their twelve year old fiddler, equals lots of fun! ​Felix has been studying fiddle for 7 years. He began, as many aspiring violinists, with the Suzuki method of instruction, but quickly fell in love with bluegrass, old-time and folk music and has been focusing on these genres ever since. Felix has been fortunate enough to study with some of the brightest young fiddlers of the bluegrass world, like John Mailander, Dave Delaney, Andy Reiner and Patrick McGonagle. 

Felix started singing with the Newton Family Singers, an intergenerational chorus founded by his parents, right around the time that he started talking! Now he sings three part harmonies with Monique and Andy. In addition to playing with Felix, Fiddle and Folks, you can catch Felix busking at local farmer’s markets and on the streets of Boston and in Cambridge.
